Refund Policy

Short version: 7 days from purchase, full refund, as long as you haven't started consuming the content. Full rules below.

The 7-day window

You may request a refund within 7 calendar days of your purchase, provided the course content has not been consumed. The window starts the moment your e-invoice is issued.

What counts as consumed

For the refund rule, the course is considered consumed if any of the following occurred after purchase: you downloaded any course material (video, file, template, or otherwise); you watched 10% or more of the total course content; or you joined the course Telegram community.

Who qualifies

The request must be made within the 7-day window, the content must not have been consumed per the rules above, and your account must not have been terminated for violating the terms or intellectual-property rights. When these conditions are met, the full amount is refunded to the original payment method, without deduction.

When we cannot refund

Requests after the 7-day window. Requests after the content has been consumed. Dissatisfaction with results, which depend on your effort. Changes of mind after accessing material. Account terminations for conduct or intellectual-property violations. Purchase errors (such as buying the wrong course) after you have consumed content.

Exceptional cases

We refund in full regardless of the window or consumption when a severe technical fault blocks your access for more than 72 hours and our support cannot resolve it; when you are double-charged or charged repeatedly due to a payment gateway fault; when we cancel the course or shut the platform down without providing alternative access; or when a minor purchased without guardian consent and no content has been consumed.

For exceptional cases, contact help@genie.courses with evidence (screenshots, transaction ID) within a reasonable period after the event.

How to request

Email help@genie.courses from the address registered on your account. Include the transaction number from your e-invoice and a brief reason. We respond within 2 business days with approval or the reasons for refusal.

Processing time

Approved refunds return to the original payment method. Card payments processed by StreamPay typically arrive within 5 to 14 business days. Installment purchases processed by Tamara are reversed through Tamara, which cancels remaining instalments and refunds any amount already paid; timing follows Tamara's processing window and your issuing bank, neither of which we control.

No partial refunds

We do not issue partial refunds. It is full (100%) or none. This is intentional, to avoid disputes over what percentage of the course a student watched.

Refunds on coupon purchases

If you bought the course using a discount coupon, the refund is limited to the amount actually charged on your invoice, not the original list price. Used coupons are not reinstated; if you re-enrol later, the price displayed at that time applies.

Bank chargebacks

If you dispute the charge with your bank before contacting us, we may suspend access immediately, submit documentation of the transaction's legitimacy (invoice, consumption logs, enrollment date) to your bank, and terminate the account if the dispute is judged to be in bad faith. Please reach out to us first; most cases resolve amicably and faster.

What happens after a refund

Access to the course and community is revoked immediately. Any certificate of completion issued in your name is invalidated. Using any previously downloaded material after a refund is an intellectual-property violation and may trigger the actions described in the terms of service.
