Terms of Service

You must be 18 or older and legally able to contract to use Genie. Accounts opened by anyone under 18 are void from creation. If a minor has opened an account, we return the payment to the legal guardian after identity verification, as long as no content has been consumed.

Provide accurate information and update it when it changes. Keep your password secret. Notify us at help@genie.courses if you suspect unauthorised access. You are the sole authorised user of your account; you may not share, transfer, or sell it. We are not responsible for harm arising from someone else using your account because you failed to protect it.

Each Genie course includes lifetime access to the videos and materials, a certificate of completion on meeting the requirements, and access to the course Telegram community. We reserve the right to develop and update course content, and to add or remove material, in the interest of quality.

Lifetime access means access for as long as we operate the platform. It is not an eternal obligation to run it. If we discontinue a course or close the platform, we make reasonable effort to email enrolled students at least 30 days in advance so you can download what is available.

All prices are in Saudi Riyal (SAR) and shown clearly before checkout. Card payments are processed by StreamPay; instalment purchases are processed by Tamara as a Buy-Now-Pay-Later provider. Each is subject to its own terms for processing and banking data. By entering payment information, you confirm you are authorised to use the payment method. If a payment fails or is later reversed, including a missed Tamara instalment that Tamara declines to recover, we may suspend access until the amount is settled.

The operator is not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to listed prices. If we register in the future, we will notify students; VAT will apply only to new purchases after that date.

We may issue discount coupons for promotions, partnerships, or specific cohorts. Coupons are personal, non-transferable, valid only at checkout, and may carry an expiry date or seat cap. We may revoke or invalidate a coupon at any time before redemption if we discover misuse, mass distribution, or fraud. One coupon per order; coupons do not stack.

Refunds are governed by the refund policy at genie.courses/refund-policy, which is an integral part of these terms.

Article 14 of the Saudi E-Commerce Law provides a 7-day right to withdraw from an electronic contract. The Law excludes digital content whose delivery began with the consumer's consent before the withdrawal period ended. By completing your purchase and receiving immediate access, you expressly consent to beginning delivery and acknowledge that the Article 14 right does not apply once any part of the content has been consumed. You retain your refund rights under the refund policy.

Your personal data is processed in accordance with the privacy policy at genie.courses/privacy-policy, which is an integral part of these terms. Genie is committed to the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), issued by Royal Decree M/19, and its executive regulations issued by the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA).

On completing the course requirements, we issue a certificate of completion in your name. The certificate is a certificate of completion, not an accredited academic credential. It is not issued by a government or university body, cannot be equivalised with the Ministry of Education, and cannot be used to apply for academic degrees or programs. It is issued only on actual completion of the content, not on purchase.

All platform content (videos, text, slides, graphics, images, code, files, certificates, logo) is the exclusive property of Genie, protected under Saudi copyright law (Royal Decree M/41) and international conventions.

Purchasing a course grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the content for personal educational purposes only. You may not copy or re-post the videos on any platform, share your login, use the content commercially, remove or modify any watermark or copyright notice, or use any automated tool to download the content.

Any violation entitles us to terminate your account immediately without refund and to pursue legal action.

By joining the course Telegram community, you agree to respect the instructors and other students, refrain from offensive content or harassment, and not post promotional or external links without prior permission. You must not share any part of the course content with non-enrolled people, and must not spoil assessments.

We may delete any message or remove any member from the group without notice for violating these rules. Removal from the community does not cancel your course access.

The platform relies on third-party services including StreamPay (payments), Telegram (community hosting), and video hosting and infrastructure providers. We are not responsible for outages or policy changes by these third parties, and your use of each is subject to its own terms.

Some of these services operate outside Saudi Arabia, and using them may result in personal data being transferred outside the Kingdom. Your use of the service constitutes consent to this transfer under PDPL.

Genie courses cover AI tools and concepts in programming. By enrolling, you acknowledge that AI outputs are not guaranteed correct and may contain logical errors, security vulnerabilities, or performance issues; that you are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated code before using it in production; that Genie does not guarantee specific professional or technical outcomes from applying the course material; and that Genie is not liable for damages arising from direct reliance on AI-generated code or decisions.

We may amend these terms at any time. Material changes are communicated to enrolled users by email and by publishing the new version at genie.courses/terms with an updated "last updated" date. Continued use after publication constitutes implicit agreement to the amended terms.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, without prior notice, for violation of these terms or the refund policy; for violation of intellectual property rights or content redistribution; for causing harm to other users or the platform; or for unlawful use. In cases of severe violation, no amounts are refunded and we may pursue legal action.

You may terminate your account at any time by emailing help@genie.courses. Termination after content has been consumed does not entitle you to a refund.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without express or implied warranty. We do not warrant that the platform is free of errors or interruptions, that the content suits any specific purpose or outcome, or that it is compatible with tools released after the course's publication date.

Our total liability for any claim related to the platform or the course does not exceed the amount you actually paid for the course in question, to the maximum extent permitted by Saudi law. We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or special damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or moral damages.

Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer rights under Saudi laws. Where these terms conflict with binding statutory provisions, the statutory provisions prevail.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Islamic Shariah. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Saudi Arabia.

Genie is not responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government or regulatory decisions, internet outages, widespread cyberattacks, and sustained failures of essential service providers (such as StreamPay, Telegram, or hosting providers). We make reasonable effort to restore service as soon as possible.

On successful purchase, we email an e-invoice to your registered address including the course name, amount, transaction date, and reference number. Keep this invoice as proof of purchase. If it has not arrived within 24 hours, email help@genie.courses.

The Arabic version of these terms is the official legally binding text. Any translation is for convenience. Where the versions disagree, the Arabic version prevails.
